American Dream Party

Who knew design geeks could throw such a rocking party?  Actually, we can’t.  But developer and social heavyweight Ry Koteen can, and did, with the “American Dream Party” on a hot summer night in ’08.  Design Department World Headquarters became  a club for one night.  Red, White and Blue was the décor of choice for both the space (red carpet) and the guests.  The warehouse provided the dance floor, complete with the DJ on top of the CNC mill.  Pine State Biscuits, Green Dragon and New Deal Vodka added crucial ingredients.  The real party ended up on the roof, with this strange substance called absinthe. No one fell off the roof, so we may have to do it again this year.
